How many pounds of candy did you buy? and where did you get it from?

I'm not up to that point yet, but maybe costco? Those shops like It's sugar etc with the cute lollipops are kind of expensive I think especially if you want to buy a lot of them. Sears has a set of 3 apothecary jars for $29.99 if you needed something like that, or check out homegoods.

i got 5 pounds for each jar, though it does depends on what kind of candy your getting. You have to really guess on weight and size. I used a few different sites depending on prices.

I purchased cellophane fall leaves bags from Oriental Trading. I also found some cute gold swirl bags from wrapwithus.com. I purchased different containers from Target.

For 100 guests the suggested minimum is 40 lbs. 5-10 different types of candy. 5-10 lbs each.

I got 2 large bags of candy from Costco for each jar (about 6.5lbs) and i have 14 jars with different candy in each one. I got my candy bags from papermart.com. best prices by far. I then photoshopped a picture/saying and printed labels on clear labels and put on each bags. I got scoops/tongs from oriental trading. Hope that helps.
