Girls who did pocketfold invites....

How did you keep them closed....wtih a ribbon or a sticker seal?

In Michael's I bought these things called zots. they are little round glue things that keep it closed!!

We didn't bother sealing them in any special way, it works out fine.

We didn't seal them either, we just used a fake seal cut out so nothing would tear on opening. It looked like a seal in the envelope, but was just glued to the top.

i used ribbon. i would suggest not using stickers to seal them because they will just get ruined when people open them. you can get round velcro coins from michaels or ac moore & it will have the same effect without destroying the pocketfold.

There was no seal and they stayed closed pretty well.

Did you tie the ribbon? Was it bulky in the envelope? Did you have to hand cancel them?

I used glue lines to secure the ribbon, & it wasnt bulky, I hand cancelled them though because I had metallic envelopes & didnt want it to get smudged going through the machine.

We got 2 pocketfold invites in the last few weeks, and they were both sealed with a coordinating sticker.

I had a ban around it with a seal that I made with our monogram. Glued it with dots.

That was the thing that took me forever to decide. I used ribbon (I made loops that I glued closed with a glue gun). Then I glued a flower on. People just slide the whole thing off. If I were to do it again, I might have used the velcro things to close them, but I'm not sure.
