Can you show me yours and tell me how much you spent. I am trying to save money and am looking at invites to cut costs. Thank you.

Re: Girls who did/are doing DIY invites
I haven't decided on any particular ones just yet, but I think I'm going to use the Brides brand kits from Michaels and add a belly band, ribbon or a crystal to them to make it a little more fun.
These are the ones I'm currently digging; they come with RSVP cards.

Mine without the belly band are in my albums. I got the pocket folders and shimmer paper from www.paperandmore.com. Envelopes were purchased from www.cardsandpockets.com, silver backing was purchased pre-cut from www.anchorpaper.com
I spent about $200 on materials, and got about 100 invites, menus, and placecards from it

Re: Girls who did/are doing DIY invites
I actually went to paper presentation this sunday and spent a few hours looking at possible styles that I could use.
I priced it out and I would be spending $125-175 for about 100 invites, with the pocketfold, rsvp cards, direction cards etc. depending on how fancy I decide to get.
I got a little overwhelmed by all the choices in the store, so I left before I purchased anything. But now I have a better idea of what I want so I'm going there on Saturday to finalize my decision and start assembling at home.
Many of the quotes I got were around $500 for the types of invites I wanted-so I'll definately be saving.
