I dyed mine purple (I have to upload pics still) and I LOVE them. I say do it!!!! I think it's a fun element and something completely personal, so if you want to do it then do it

Re: Girls who dyed their shoes
I had ivory shoes for the ceremony and then I changed into red ones for the reception.
I actually wish I stayed in my ivory ones...they were more comfortable cause they were regular shoe not dyable. I find dyables are stiff no matter how much you break them in.

2010 crashing but i wanted to post my blue shoes....
I'm sure that if you are sitting and your dress raises high enough to expose your feet then your shoes will be seen BUT who cares what color they are just as long as you love them!! But keep in mind that if your feet get sweaty or it is wet outside the color will bleed onto your feet and could potentially get on your dress.

The feet I can handle.. the dress I wouldn't be too happy about.
The truth is is that no one even noticed my shoes were pink until after!
I was going with hot pink...but went for a more muted just because it went better with the ivory dress.... if that makes sense
Would u like to borrow mine and show your mom? Or I can send you pictures of me on the altar with them? She may change her mind
Sorry- Im just really big into shoe color for weddings! I dont know why but ithink it reflects the person you know?
