I got my ring redipped on Friday and so far no rash. I would usually break out with in a few hours with an itchy red ring around my finger. I know some of you had also suffered from this. I found out the allergy is caused by the nickel they use in the gold to strengthen it. When they dip it, they plate it in platinum which means no more rash.

Yes i had that happen once...i boiled my ring?! I read up on and heard that worked. It did! I am going to get it dipped though, we are going for our wedding bands tomorrow...

I thought at first it might be bacteria or something on the ring itself since im always getting it wet or putting lotion on but after cleaning it a billion times it still didnt help. I also convinced myself i was allergic to my cleaner.. so i washed it in dawn and boiling hot water... and i still broke out. So it turns out its the ring itself.
