I don't know where to start with fonts and colors. Can I just email her and say show me some proofs? Or do I have to have some suggestions of what I want first?
FH is in love with the idea now, he though it was really cute He's so funny sometimes.

I honestly went on her website and looked through the ones she already did and chose one and just changed the colors. I found that to be the easiest way... unless you have an eye for things and can tell which fonts would look good on top of other fonts, but I got crossed eyed trying to figure it out lol

LOL, yeah, that's the problem, I don't know what fonts look good in what colors and with what other fonts... so I'd want to see various options...
I think one of the other girls said she just emailed her a bunch of proofs but I don't know if she gave her any color/font info beforehand or not. SO I might just wind up doing what you did.

well I attached the plaque she already made to the email to give her the layout and fonts that I wanted to use, and then I looked at her color charts and asked her to make up a couple of proofs in different combos to see what I liked.
She bis very easy to work with and doesn't seem to mind revising things a bunch of times to get it right for you (or maybe she does but she just doesn't say so lol)

I don't know what our wedding colors are precisely yet, but i'm thinking of the blue family, so I'm thinking (and I haven't looked at her background colors yet)
Navy background Last name in white and then first names in: robin's egg, powder or slate blue?
I have no idea with fonts though...
does that sound awful?

no I think that sounds nice...
seriously just email her what you would like to do and she will whip you up a bunch of proofs to choose from... and then from there, pick one you like but might want something changed and she will do your revisions...
took me about 15 emails back and forth to get it just right lol

Yeah, I drafted an email to her saying 'I'm sorry I'm ingoring the instruction on your website, but I'm retarded and here's what I think I want but I don't want my imagination to limit my options'

'09er crashing.
I asked her if she had the same font that I used on my invites and the various other items I had printed.
She had something similar to it so that's what I went with.
I also went with colors to match our wedding theme; lucky enough it is neutral and we will be able to display it when we eventually buy a house.
Pics are in my album. I think we went with the 2nd one.
Channa is really nice to work with.

I just emailed her with possible colors. Nothing else, she sent me like 20 options to go with..and said if I don't like any she could send me more. I narrowed it down from there.

I got 24x6
I measure above all the doorways in my house (we are putting it above a doorway) and I wanted something smaller than the length of a doorway - I thought it would look stupid if it was longer than the doorway or just a tiny bit smaller or bigger. so the 24x6 was a perfect size.
