Girls who got jewelry as BP gifts...

I was talking to one of my BM the other day and she asked me what, if any, requests I had as to what jewelry they wear. Well, I already went and bought them all necklaces that I was hoping they would wear the day of. But I dont want to obviously tell them not to worry about it. But yet I also dont want them going out and buying something new (which my BM said she was going to look for) How should I handle this every time it comes up?

Hmm I did give my girls necklaces, but I had them try it on with the dress to make sure it looked nice with it, so they knew. Maybe you could just say, necklaces wont look good with the cut of the dress, so you would rather them not wear one? I really don't know im sorry, wish i could be more help

I was thinking of giving their gifts early and hopefully they didnt get anything yet. I also have a friend find out info for me if they bought any... I think you need spys.

interesting question. i haven't gotten to this point yet with my BM. in the weddings i've been in, i've always picked something out to wear, just in case, b/c you can't always assume the bride will give you jewelry, but i'm sure in the back of her head she's thinking you got her something.

i don't know what to say. maybe you should give them their gifts early! lol...or tell her to pick a few things out and show you. maybe she has something at home already she's thinking about wearing instead of buying something new.

Definitely spies. My sister-MOH knows that I bought the jewelry and she's been in touch with the other girls about the shower and such so I told her to just say that I had something in mind if anyone asks.
