Girls who Got Married already, a question..

Now that the wedding is over do you feel kind of sad? I loved everything about my wedding day and my DH is the best. I love being married but now that it is all over I def have the post wedding blues. We arent having a baby anytime soon and are currently saving for a house but now that all the hoopla is over, I dont kno what to do with myself!!!

Anyone else feeling the same way?

I'm not married yet, but I know I will probably feel the same. Luckily, you have summer to look forward to!! Plan a trip.. or plan a party haha!

I can see this happening!

The good thing is that we will have a new place to live and new jobs, so I think the adjustment will be exciting anyway....even without all the planning!

A little bit. There are times when DH and I look at each other and have nothing to say, because those were the times we would have been talking about wedding stuff.

Yupp, I definitely had the post-wedding blues. But it doesn't last long- life gets in the way.

At first I wasn't sad I was excited it was over the last month killed me but now as the weeks are flying by I feel like there is something missing like I am supposed to be doing something. Good thing we are moving into our apartment in 2 weeks and my birthday is next week so ill be doing something again.

I keep telling FH that I am totally going to have Post Wedding Depression! I mean, I am definitely stressed with planning, but for the most part it's so fun!!!

I say all of the time that we will probably never have that feeling again. I do feel sad that everything is over. We already have children and are not planning on any more so thats not something to look foward to.

I think luckily for us we will have things to keep us busy for a while after... we are hopefully moving into an apartment together soon, but I am sure that we will still be working on making it 'just right' for a while after the wedding. Plus, we are going on a 3 wk honeymoon right after the wedding and then it is a couple weeks before Thanksgiving, and then the holidays and new years... so there will be a lot of things for us to be focused on.

not married yet.. but I can see exactly what you are saying. I feel as if weeding planning has taken over every free second that i have. I must speak to my mother 15 times a day. When its all over it is for sure going to be weird.. But then look we all have these amazing men with us now!!!!
