Girls who had around 300 guests invited

What was your final count for the reception hall?

I know figures say about 20% of invited guests DO NOT come, I'm just curious what final numbers everyone ended up with.

We invited less than that, about 215 but the 20% rule was almost exactly on the spot for us.

We invited almost 300 and had only 200 show. Obviously way more than the 20% rule and telling from the guests that didn't show (DH's family that had been laid off or didn't have money to travel for example) I think it was due to the economy. I've heard a lot of people having high decline rates during this recession. HTH!
