Girls who had bridesmaid dresses that...........

were halter tops..............what were your girls experience's with them? Any problems or advice on alterations? Anyone have pics of their girls with halter top dresses? Thanks!

my girls had halter tops, and they all needed to be adjsuted at the top, because they were too big, but noone had any problems.

I had to wear a halter in my friends wedding last year...I didn't like it because I didn't feel comfortable. We all looked fine in the pictures. It was her day...I kept my mouth shut about the dress. JMO...

2 of my BM's wore halter dresses (I let my BM's pick their on Dessy/After Six dress). I know the neckline on one that was too high after alterations - she was annoyed but it was just the way the seamstress did the alterations. The other didn't seem to have any problems (except I think she could have made it tighter because when she moved you could see in.)

Both looked fine in the pictures - but just a little different. I have a pic posted under photo albums.

I just ordered halter top dresses for my BMs. I have wore two halter dresses in weddings and had no problems with them. I needed alterations, but it did not mess up the style. Are your girls comfortable with wearing halter tops? All my girls wear them all the time in the summer so it is no problem and no one had any complaints when they tried it on!
