Do the cups give you a nice shape? I'm a small B and usually like to wear a strapless with a little padding for some lift. They said that the cups would be good for me, but I'm worried about the lift and shape that I'll get from it.

Do you buy those from the bridal salon or did you get them somewhere else?
I had cups sewn in and was very happy. I can't imagine wearing a strapless bra all night.

I haven't gotten alterations for my dress yet, but I'm also a small B cup, and my salon told me to go with the cups and that she'd give me a little padding to fill it out a bit more.

My seamstress has it available in different sizes so I didn't have to provide it. She charged extra $16 bucks.

I actually had my bra sewn into the dress. The cups didn't give me enough of a boost, lol, but I was happy with the way the bra worked out.

Re: Girls who had cups sewn into their dress
Thanks for all your input! I'm just afraid that the cups won't give me enough lift. I suppose I'll just bring my strapless that I have now and compare it with the bra and then with just cups.
I am a DD and I had NO CHOICE but to have cups put in b/c I had a low back halter and there were not bras that I could wear that wouldn't show. Believe it or not they got the job done, kept these hoots in all night long I didn't wear a bra - you will be fine...

Re: Girls who had cups sewn into their dress
i'm also a small B cup, and the seamstress actually sewed 2 sets of bra cups into my dress - a fuller one and then a smaller one inside the fuller one at the bottom so that i had the extra lift and they were rounded so you dont look like u have fake boobs

Re: Girls who had cups sewn into their dress
I'm a small C and didn't want too much boob so they gave me the least padded ones and its still a bit much... they can do more padded or less padded!
