what did you have for favors? i need ideas

I ordered loaves of handmade soap and cut them with a pastry cutter, then placed them in clear favor wraps, tied them with a ribbon and ordered stickers from Vistaprint that had the date and said 'From Ali's Shower to Yours'

I didn't want something that they would just toss...and figure everyone uses soap!

I ordered from the Soap Guy online...he runs specials so I chose the cheap soap ( like $2 per loaf, each loaf made 6 or 7 bars)

Simple and cute

And then my mom's coworker liked it so much, she copied them and made them for her future daughter in laws shower!

I'm a teacher and we got engaged apple picking therefore...my moh found small brown paper bags and put in apple flavored soap and a small apple candle. everyone loved it and thought it was creative

Going along the theme of Showers of Happiness...my mom got umbrellas and used those as favors.

My friend made decorative soaps in the tiffany bluewith tags that said 'from Maria's shower to yours' it was cute. She bought the stuff and poured them into molds

My mom had mints in a tin. The tin matched the invite.

I have a friend who makes amazing cupcakes!
For a friends shower, she made those for me and I bought reallly cute, clear boxes from an Etsy vendor with tags that matched... so cute and delicious!

i love the idea of umbrellas as favors

and i also love the idea of giving body wash

'from colleens shower to yours'

i like practical gifts that people are sure to use

you can get the body wash cheap from bath and body in the outlets, buy different scents so everyone can pick what they like

I make awesome favor chocolate lollipops - funny because I made them for a shower I was a BM for last month, and i decided to start selling them - They have become a huge hit so my sister wants me to make them for my own shower and i absolutely will :)
Im sure we will also include something else!

My sisters did a small potted pansy plant and a mesh bag of Lindt truffles for my shower. They said 'every woman should have flowers & chocolate'. It was a big hit!
