Should we go to a specific beach or can we just walk right to the beach from the terminal? I want to know if it's worth it to book an excursion. I just don't want to be stuck at an over populated beach with people harassing me to buy a towel or get my hair braided.

we took a taxi to the beach also... we went to Palm beach i believe.
many of the hotels are right on the beach...ive stayed at the hyaitt and occidental...the occidental was an all inclusive...its so much easier just to get up an walk to the beach

we got off the boat and hired a taxi...the beach we went to was called palm beach...i think it was behind the hyatt? not 100% sure
it was nice and quiet, there was a cute shop with food and trinkets
and you could rent floats
