Girls who have had their showers already....

I had my shower today. I was totally surprised! Yay! My mom and BP did such a fab job so shout out to them!!!

Anyway, I just checked my registry and there is a LOT of stuff off of my registry that I didn't get which I think is weird. I could see maybe a few things, but I'm seeing like a dozen+ things that are off that I didn't get, including my coffee pot, blender, food processor and some other more big ticket items. There were very few people who didn't come to my shower so it's not like Im expecting gifts to come afterwards AND I was a dirty registry peeker and I know some of those bigger items were off for a while. Did anyone have this isssue? It's so weird! Can you call the store and find out who purchased them or if it was removed accidentally?

I had a few things off my registry that I didn't get at my shower, but I ended up getting them in the mail from people who couldn't make it. I also got one item as a wedding gift from an out-of-towner.

Maybe somebody else has planned a shower for you also... like maybe coworkers. They could have also been purchased as Wedding gifts. I had my whole bathroom set bought but have not received it yet... so I figure it must be a wedding gift. I was a dirty peeker too!!!!

This is what I would guess as well. Congrats on your shower, isn't it exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Means you're getting close.

I think I'd agree with the other girls, the gifts are probably either on their way to you or gifts from OOT guests that they'll bring to the wedding (out of NY some people give physical gifts)

Maybe people who went to the shower when they went to buy the shower present also bought the wedding present.... so dont worry you will get it.

Congrats on your shower. I was thinking of you yesterday!! I had a slight feeling it could've been! I have a feeling you will get those gifts soon.

Could it be a wedding gift? My boss got a lot of gifts from her registry for her wedding--mostly from her OOT guests.

There are about 5 or 6 things off my registry that I didn't get at my shower. One of them I got in the mail from someone who couldn't make it & I think I know who bought a couple of the missing things (she couldn't make my shower, but told me she bought me a gift). I'm guessing maybe the rest are wedding gifts?

Most the things I'm talking about were bought possibly before my invites even went out. I would think it would have been from family then but I can't picture anyone in my family giving me a coffee pot or a food processor as a wedding gift. I definitely know it wasn't work either. I have no idea. I'm going to have to ask the all-knowing....Mom. She might know.
