Girls Who Have/Had Two Photographers....

My photographer said i have two options :

I can have both photographers come to take pics of me getting ready then one can leave early to take pics of FH etc at the church before I arrive

Or

I can have one photographer with me and one photographer stay with FH the entire time.

Also did you have to provide transportation for your photographers?

Both photographers stayed with me and left to go shoot DH and the RH I think that was their personal choice. They provided their own transportation.

I'm having one with me in the morning and one with FH. I want FH to take pics with his family and GM's before the ceremony.

And no, you do not provide transportation for your vendors.

My photographer was sort of giving me a hard time about having the photographer take two separate cars (one to come to me and one to go toFH) and said it would be better if ihad two photographers come to me and then one left early to go take pics of FH at church before the ceremony (that would however mean that the photographer who stayed with me would need transportation anyway???). Anyway I dont know if he was trying to concvince me to keep two photographers with me before the ceremony bc i would need it for pics (one for the photojournalistic pics and one for reg) or bc it was more convenient for the photographers....

Just trying to get an idea of what i would prefer I guess and then I will just tell them -- i am sure they can figure out their own transportation-- they will have to.

When I booked mine, they told me that usually both photogs go with the bride, because well, it's all about her But he said that if I want pics of FH and his family getting ready, I can send one over there. I guess it also helps that FH will be getting ready only about 10 minutes away from the church, so it's pretty convenient.

Thats pretty much what mine said .. but i wasnt sure if he was just strong arming me ahhahah because FH is like 40 minutes from teh church and iam like 25 minutes in the other direction (church is in the midde) lol.. so they would have to take two cars for sure!!

My photographers are a husband/wife team.

We're ALL getting ready in the hotel (I won't be seeing FH beforehand). As of now, both photographers will take pics of me and FH (swapping back and forth) and if time before the guys leave the hotel, take pics of them along with FH's parents.

Other than that, I haven't gotten much further with any more photography thoughts.

My husband/wife photog team are driving out from BK and aren't charging me for gas or anything, which was a nice surprise.

Also, I'm having them split up so my FH gets his pics done at his house. I think its a nice idea, bc I won't get to see him b4, but I'll have the professional pics to document it!

One photog will be with me and the other we have a choice to either go with FH getting ready or meet us at the church. We chose to have him go with FH so we have pics of both of us getting ready.

i don't think your photog should give you a hard time about transportation...afterall you are paying them thousands of dollars, the least they can do is take two cars so you get the pictures you want and are paying for! - jmo

We are having 2 photographers, one is showing up where I am getting ready at 8am, the other is showing up where FH is getting ready at 10am with a 12:30 ceremony.

I'd do the 2nd choice. i don't see why you'd need 2 photographers with you before the wedding.

no you dont provide transportation for them, how would they get home first of all.

But yeah i think its good if you have one photographer with you when getting ready and then the other with FH

One went to be with FH and one was with me. From there we had 2 at the church and through our entrance into the reception.

I had both photographers at my house while we were getting ready. I would have rather had one with DH before the church. We have no pictures of him before the church. His parents didn't take any. And no we did not provide transportation.
