What did you do the day of? were you already there when guests got there? Did you act surprised since most guests didnt know you knew of the planning?

I knew the date of my shower, just not the location.
Most people knew I knew. I had a fake surprise face when I walked in but as I went to say hello I told ppl I knew.

I'm guessing on the invite it won't say it's a surprise...so people may already know....
On the other hand most people expect the bride to be surprised...
Just look happy!!!
I would show up 15mins after...let everyone get settled in, thats what we did for my sister's baby shower

I arrived about 1/2 hour after the start time of my shower. My guests were aware that I knew about the date and time of my shower but not the location or who was coming (that was my choice). I walked in and was surprised about who was there not that it was my shower.

i found out for sure the day before that it was my shower - which was fine since most brides figure it out - i was still surprised though when i saw my sister and grandma - i didnt think they were going to be there so i was def surprised by that (they live in florida) - i cried - and it was still totally overwhelming to walk into a room and everyone yells surprise at you.....

My mom didnt want to make it a surprise bc I lived with her so she felt it would be too much stress
I went and got my hair and makeup done, then I was there with my mom and my BM's and greeted everyone.

I figured it out on my way there..... I wanted so bad for it to be a surprise...so did my mom...she even made it on a friday night to throw me off... it was still awesome though! I loved every minute of it

My sis was nosy and kind of put 2 and 2 together. She walked in with a change of clothes in her hand.
BUT - she still cried when she walked in. Just because you know doesn't make it any less special when you see all the people you love and the effort that has been put into it all.

a friend of mine knew about hers and didn't tell us all so when we got there we all asked her what she was doing there... she laughed and said 'its my shower, shouldn't I be here. I assumed it was a surprise
I'd let people know you know so they dont try to keep the non-existant secret from you...lol

I know when and where mine is, and my immediate family knows that the surprise was ruined too. So I'm going to be there probably setting up and stuff a little earlier than the guests. The only people who don't know that I know are whoever FMIL invites from her extended family, and then I guess the surprise is on them!

I just found out last week my shower is a saturday. I do not know where or when or any details. I told my sis to have my fiance get me there on time so I don't have to walk in and have everyone yell surprise. I woul like to greet guests and chat with them sice i found out when it is!

i knew about the shower and everyone that was invited knew that i knew too. one of my bms coordinated the whole thing from beginning to end with my other bms so i was able to relax and have a little fun. i walked in about 10 min. late and just started giving hugs all around

some people knew i knew.. some people didn't.. i knew the day, and where but i didn't know who RSVP'ed yes and i didn't know any details of the shower... my fiancee and i walked in after everyone was there....it was great...it was still overwhelming even knowing about it...
