Did you feel cheap not being able to include a stamp for the response card? I hate this...I only have one invite to send to England but I feel so bad making my friend buy a stamp so she can return it. Think I should email her and tell her I'm sorry but I can't buy a stamp to send from England to the U.S.?

Re: Girls who mailed invites overseas
I did not put postage on my overseas response cards. It worked out b/c they required more postage.

Re: Girls who mailed invites overseas
We mailed about 25 overseas and didn't include a stamp on the RSVPs. Europe doesn't accept US stamps so it would've been a waste anyway.

Re: Girls who mailed invites overseas
I had to send about 10 invites to Italy and Australia and actually did not include the rsvp card at all. They either called or we called them.

Re: Girls who mailed invites overseas
I sent one to Germany and Spain... the Germany one was actually my aunt's army address so I think the US postage applies.... but yea the Spain address they told me you can't put on here because it's different over there. There's nothing you can do about it, I wouldn't worry an I'm sure they will realize this!

Re: Girls who mailed invites overseas
I'm not putting stamps on my international RSVP cards. There's no point - they can't use our stamps anyway in their postal systems.
Just for the record, if you mail something overseas to an APO/FPO military address, US postage is sufficient for both the invitation and the RSVP card.

I felt so bad too! But, I did put a note in each invite apologizing and stating that the postage wouldn't have been allowed and that if they couldn't get around to getting postage they could call or email their response in.

I didn't feel cheap - I didn't know how much it would cost and besides they were all DH's sisters and family so it didn't bother me.
