Girls who use Ouidad products

Which gel do you use - tress fx or climate control? Thanks!

I tried the Climate Control and hated it. I was surprised at how nasty it made my hair, especially b/c I'd heard such rave reviews. So maybe Tress fx is the way to go?

I read on the curly hair thread that a number of girls use the climate control - does anyone have any input as to why this would be better than tress fx?

Lol - can you tell I'm going NUTS about my hair the past two days! I just got it cut (too short) and its super super curly - I look like a chia pet! I need some help

I was just about to say that I think Climate Control works better on girls with super curly hair. I think I just used the wrong gel for my hair type (it's more wavy than curly). Good luck!

I use Tress FX. They told me Climate Control was 'too much gel' for my hair and that it would weigh it down.

I use Climate Control and I LOVE it! It is the best product so far that I've found for my hair. It's a gel, but it's very lightweight and more of a liquidy gel.
My hair isn't super-curly either. It's more of a moderate curl.

I defintely prefer the climate control over the tress fx... I can't get any hold out of the tress fx.

Lately I find what works the best for me is Nexxus Liquid Gel. Then, after blow drying I finish it off with Quidad's promade. What a life saver! It holds the curls and more importantly softens them after blowdrying.

Does anyone go to Quidad? I used to until Robert went with Christo over to Christo 5th Ave. I love it over there a lot more!

I went to one here in VA a few months ago. Total ripoff. The guy gave me a good cut, but it (and their stupid 'patented' conditioning treatment) was WAY overpriced.
But it was because of that place that I found the Climate Control gel!

I just started using the Climate Control gel again...It works great for my curls in the summer months

So I went on a hair product shopping spree today and tonight I used the Ouidad leave -in conditioner, the climate control gel and the finishing spray and I have to say - what a difference! My hair looks SO MUCH BETTER - chia pet no more I can't wait until my hair grows a few inches and I can see how it looks with this product! So, thanks so much girls - I really appreciate it!

Also, I found a store that sells Back to Basics products and I bought what I think is the green tea gel everyone suggested - is it called green tea texturizing lotion? Just wanted to be sure. At any rate, I'll report back after I try that one too!
