So I know she does like AMAZINGGGGGGGG work and I emailed her or who I thought was her a few months ago and was told she was booked for my day and they tried to tell me THEY could do my makeup. And sent me their portfolio, which I was not crazy about. Well I kept seeing her name on here and something told me to call her directly and speak to her and see if my day was available and I was really ready to hear that it WASNT...
WELL its a good thing I called because she IS available!!!!!!! The other woman who was only an inquiry for my day, which she let me know about and said she would have to call her first before promising me anything. And when she called this other woman, her wedding had been postponed and the day actually IS available!!!!!!! OMG I am sooooooooooooooooo excited! I LOVEEEEEE her work...
My only concern is with how expensive she is. For myself I dont mind spending it because Ive seen what she can do and well its my day and I want to look the best I possibly can and with her I am SOO confident in her work. She does SICKKKKKKKKK work, but I dont know if my girls are going to be willing to spend that type of $ and I only hope that if thats the case she will still be willing to work with me if its only like me my mother and my sister in law and niece that she has to work on. =/
For the girls that used her how many people did you have and was it an issue if it was less people or a smaller bridal party? And do you think her prices were pretty standard for a bridal party hair/makeup?

Anyone??? I know there are a ton of girls who are using her or have used her... Appreciate any info in regards to if you felt her rates were reasonable. And if your bridal party was large or small that used her and did it make a difference to her.

I am also paying for my girls hair. I told them that if they would like to get their makeup professionally done, they need to pay.

She did my hair and makeup and makeup for my mom and aunt. It was only the three of us and it wasn't an issue.
She is so amazing. My makeup lasted all night. She's worth every penny.

See THATS why I want to use ***! Your makeup was unbelievable! To me its worth it too! Did she do your bridal party also? Ya know what if they want to use her great and if they dont thats ok too... aww thanks! i went on a lot of trials and nobody could get what i wanted - M-i-a actually did two trials for me - one was about 2 weeks before the wedding to really nail what i was looking for.....i didn't want to look like i was trying to hard with my hair and make up - i def wanted to be glamorous b/c it was my wedding but i didn't want to look fake or have too much make up on either - and it was hard for other people to get that - so out of all the artists i tried she was the one who really listened to me and she tried everything i wanted her to try - and the make up lasted ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT
she did my bridal party (3 girls) and my MIL - then she added false lashes for my Mom (my mom is a make up artist and always does her own make up).....
i think her prices have gone up but i still think she is worth it.....i actually paid for my girls to get their hair done so it wasn't as expensive for them - they only had to pay for their make up.....

Future Mulligan thats exactly what Im looking for! I want to look glamorus and the best I possibly can but without looking like I have a pound of makeup! I hate that heavy heavy look!
I have another trial this weekend I will go just to compare and I will keep my appt with M**... I was thinking about possibly paying for the girls to get their hair done and they can pay for makeup if they choose to have it done =) Thats a good idea... When I talk more to M** and get more prices from her I can decide whats best... =))
But for amazing work its DEF worth it I totally agree with you. This is once in a lifetime and I want to look my absolute best and the fact that she does that and the makeup lasts and I havent heard from 1 person, NOT ONE, that was disapointed with her! EVER! Thats incredible and next to impossible...

the trials i had with people recommended from LIW were Maureen Pedala and Jennifer Ann

I had M*I*a and she is worth spending the extra money on. I was a little hesitant but scheduled a trial with her because I saw weddings and trials she had done. On my wedding day she went a little lighter on my eyes which gave it a more natural look. I loved the way my make up came out!

M..I..A is doing hair ONLY for myself and my daughter....so the # of people is not an issue.. she is amazing!!!!
