Girls who wear specs....

Ok so wondering are you girls wearig contactsthat day or are planning on goign for lasik surgery before the wedding?

I really want lasik im thinking about it. Anyone hadit & how much did it cost you?

I know i totally agree. I end wearing my glasses more then anything. Buti really want lasik. Get it done b4 the wedding so im not walking blind! lol Honestly contacts bug thecrap out of my eyes!

I am way too nervous about Lasik. I don't think it has been around long enough to be 100%. I hear stories of people going blind and being way too sensitive in the sun. No thanks. I'll stick with the contacts. They aren't at all bad if you take care of them.

The girl I work with just had it done about 2 months ago!! She said was about $2000 and it was best money she ever spent!! She said its sooo worth it....

i am wearing contacts the day of. I would love to get lasik BUT i have heard so many bad things about it. i know that the people who have it love it but the long term effects i think are still yet to be determined. once you get lasik you can only get it for near or far sightedness not both. and in the long term of the two that wasn't done will get worse so you have to wear glasses anyway. i don't mean to be pessimistic but i just thought i would throw that would there. HTH

I know i just feellike pulling my eyes out whenever they are in. I guess im just not used to them.

But FH had lasik done & he loved it. Also my bro's FW had it done. I think you just need to really get a great doc & do your research!

I am wearing contacts.

When I use to work for a call center one our customer called and was really upset. She apologize for being so mean but she said she was upset because she did the Lasik surgey that went bad. Since then I could never forget that story. You only have one set of eyes.

I used to wear glasses and switched over to contacts 75% of the time, so I will definitely be wearing them on the day of.

Lasik has progressed dramatically from years ago. its like a nothig procedure. They tell you that its no a lastign thing that eventually your eyes will probably decrease over time but i wouldnt mind not dealing with thegalsses & contacts now.

I know a good dr. will cost about 3 to 4 grand! Im thinking about it ladies!

It may have progessed dramatically but there is still chance. One of my ex manager also did the procedure he the most highest prescription I have ever heard of . He went to a reputable doctor and he had minor complication still. This was less then 5 months ago.

I've been wearing glasses since 5th grade and contacts since 8th... I am sooooo sick of them!

I would love to get lasik but it just seems like another added expense... between the wedding and buying a co-op I can't afford it.

I'll be wearing my contacts. They really bug my eyes too....like I see they do a lot of other girls. I usually end up wearing my glasses mostly because I stare at a computer all day. I don't have any plans to get the surgery, maybe one day. FH got it and he's extremely happy with the results.
