Girls who wore an ivory dress

What color did you put your husbands in? I was told since my dress is ivory FH should wear ivory. Should the GM's be in ivory to? My color is lavender though so I'm a little confused.

They are wearing ivory shirts, yes

Just their shirts are ivory? Are you doing ties? Bowties? If so what color will they be?

Our main color is green, so they have green ties and pocket squares, ivory shirts, and black suits ( I hate tuxes, so we are doing suits)

my GM are wearing irvory shirts, purple ties and black vests, they could wear purple vests, but i decided against it. Fh is all ivory (shirt, tie, vest)

Yeah, I think that's what I might do. I personally don't like the colored vest, I'll probably do ivory shirts on the Gm's, lavender ties and black vests and ask FH to wear all ivory(shirt, tie & vest).

I am wearing ivory but the groomsmen are in white shirts... my dress is such a slight ivory i don't think it will matter!

DH wore ivory, GMs wore white. I wasn't sure how it would look either, but it was just fine.

Oh okay, so your GM's wore white shirts and it looked fine....good to know.

What about flowergirls? Did anyone put their flowergirls(if you had them)in ivory dresses?

I really wanted them to wear white.

I dropped the ball on this one and had the FGs in white. In my non-pro pics, you can see a difference. Not that it looked bad but you could tell I was in ivory and they were in white. In the pro pics though, you can't see a difference at all. Let me find an example.

You look beautiful!

No one will care if its a slight ivory versus white... though you may notice.

I think the color FH is wearing is called 'Diamond White.' It's white, but not like bright white. I didn't like the ivory shirts/vests/ties. They looked dirty to me.

My gown was Paloma Blanca's ivory silk - it was as white as silk can be, so not very ivory. All of the men were in white shirts - DH was in a white tie and vest - it was totally fine.

I'll probably get a sample of my dress if I can and bring it to the tuxedo place. If we can get away w/ FH in a white shirt then great.
