Do you think we should book the room with our own swim up pool or on the 3rd floor with a balcony and great view?

well if you are going to st lucia (the grande) i say no to the swim up pool. its just not necessary, its def more private but its not near any bar. I just dont think its worth it - its not completely private anyone even someone without that room can use it. FH and I used it and we didnt have that room . however if you want to spend the money and get one of those separate buildings that are like cottages that have a private pool for just you , then yes.
