Girls who's showers were supposed to be a suprise but knew about it

My shower is this Sat. and its supposed to be a suprise but I know about it. Did you put on the fake suprise face? I dont know what to do and Im a little nervous about it. I dont want to have that stupid fake suprised look on my face but I also dont want some people to think i wasnt suprised. Help!! What should I do?

i was in that place. I did not fake it. I told them I knew and showed up on time and greated the guests!

I picked the date of my shower.... I think I want to act surprised for s hits and giggles LOL

I would prob. act surprised if its supposed to be one, bc someone in your family could have tried hard so that you wouldnt find out.

I would just be happy about it and not worry about trying to act surprised or some certain way. You'll be all smiles and thrilled, so I wouldn't worry about trying to act surprised. No point lying to everyone -- just enjoy!!!

(and since you know... bring your umbrella!)

Well, my surprise was ruined, and my immediate family, BP, and FH's immediate family know I know now, but a lot of the extended guests do not know, but they'll know when I'm there meeting them at the door!

You and me both - my friend's idiot sister spilled the beans to me at my bachelorette party this weekend and I was so bummed - mine is Saturday too. I told my girlfriends who were with me to keep the secret and I'm going to act surprised for my family. I'm the last of 5 girls and they've put so much effort into it that I want them to be excited too. Not too much drama - just like jump a bit when I walk in.

i had a really good idea, but not positive....honestly its so overwhelming that even knowing about your suprised.....this whole room full of women all scream suprise and their all looking at you....you dont know where to turn first! make sure you hug mom or your MOH first!

I think no matter what, when they yell surprise, youre still going to open your mouth. I think its a force of habit. You'll be alright girlie.

Mine is this Sunday- but I'm not supposed to know that. But My Mom and most people know I know. I just don't know where it is. There was a whole big thing with my BP and my family I cried, they cried, it was a mess but now it is better.

Mine is Saturday too!!!! I am not supposed to know either so I am in the same boat as you. I am going to try to go there in jeans and a cute shirt and have my dress in the car. I was going to try and act surprised!!! I am the worst liar though so I am not sure how convincing I will be.

My mom and I had a deal.. She did NOT want to think she was 'getting over on me' if I had found out.. She said she would have felt stupid so when I found out I told her. Eventually everyone found out I knew..

I figured it out and just couldn't lie. So I told them how I figured it out. I was actually a little mean but its only cause I don't like surprises. But I got better with time. Just do waht you heart tells you.

OMG!!!!!!! I was wondering the same thing. I know my shower is this weekend, too. I think it will be on Sunday, though. People already gave me grief for walking into my surprise 30th birthday party and saying 'I knew about it all along!' I already warned my MOH not to be disappointed if I find out when the shower is. So, I don't know what to do. I am SOOO bad at lying and putting on a surprised face.

i love that you posted this! FH and I were just talking about this! mine is sun and I know, but noone other than FH knows i know and he told his mom and sisters too. IDK how well i will fake it but figure i will just go with the flow...
