Girls whose mothers are walking them down the aisle...

Hi ladies-
I went dress shopping yesterday (found THE ONE <3) and my mom brought up a good point that I hadn't thought of. She is walking me down the aisle since my dad passed away and she wasn't sure if I should have the blusher in front of my face because it's the father's job to lift the veil. What are you doing? I hadn't though of that, and I don't want another reason to cry because I know I will be emotional that day! My family is very traditional so I feel I should have the blusher, so I am curious what everyone is doing...

My mother is walking me down the aisle. However, I'm not having a blusher. You can have your FH lift the veil when you get down the aisle or after your pronounced husband and wife. Or you can have your mom do it. It all up to what you feel would be best.

My mom and my Grandma walked me down the aisle and I did wear a blusher.. my DH lifted it at one point during the ceremony, but you can have your mom lift it right before she 'gives you away'

I'm having my mom walk me down, and I think I'm not going to wear a blusher anyway. But the decision is totally up to you and what you feel like. Either your mom or your FH could be good!
