how did you send the names and addresses to the calligrapher?

your best bet is to ask your calligrapher what format they want the list in ... or you may end up having to re-do the list.

Jenn, each calligrapher has their own way. The woman who just did mine wanted me to email them in label format in Word. Others asked for it in excel with the columns labeled Inner Envelope and Outer Envelope.
