How do you concentrate on anything other than the wedding? I find that this week has been so hard, probably because tomorrow is my 3 month mark. But I get so giddy and think about the wedding, and I can't seem to concentrate on anything else. Any ideas of how I can survive the next 3 months without getting fired?

I'm mostly stressing out because I've been such a bad bride and I haven't done anything and now I feel like I won't get it all done. Once I get my invites out, I'll feel a little better.

I feel the same way....I find coming home after work some nights and having a glass of wine definitely helps!!!

If you figure something out that helps let me know!!! At lunch now all this week I've been to Michael's looking for stuff. We're only going to get to do this once...and it's fun. But I have to WORK!!!! I feel your pain!!!

I don't concentrate on anything at work, i'm always looking something up for the wedding!
It's really bad for me b/c my last day at this company (they are relocating and i'm getting laid off) is june 2nd so I'm not really into my work right now. Basically just counting down the days.......

I know, my whole attitude lately is that we only do this once. So if I want something at the wedding and can afford it, I'm doing it. I don't want to have any regrets.

its crazy hard considering my senior recital is in a week and a half and i'm in the process of job interviews too! oy!

I feel your pain too! I'm switching labs in the summer so I'm just finishing up this one project for publication and I'm done here. It's so hard trying to finish.

sorry, i have no advice for you. I'm going nuts. between making last appointments and doing the last of DIY projects and trying to slim down
i'm at work right now and i'm soooooooo not mind set here. i'm on liweddings.com all day long, i'm making lil list and things at my desk. i huff and puff when my boss asks me to do something cause i'd rather be doing my wedding stuff. i hate work right now. I wake up in the morning and it takes forever for me to get ready cause i have no motivation to come here. i'd rather sleep till 11 and do things around the house and shop for more wedding stuff, even though i don't need anything else

I know what you mean! What I do is pretend that I have really important things to do other than wedding realated things. While I am at work, I have to totally shut out of LIW once and a while and tell myself that I have important 'work' related things to do. It is hard but sometimes you just have to psych yourself out.

I'm starting stress. I'm holding down two jobs, I have hardly no free time. I'm in the middle of my invites, I'll be happy when they go out.
I even quit my job this week, only to be talked into staying. I'm not even sure if my stress of my job is because I'm unhappy or if the wedding is totally clogging my brain.

I am beyond excited!!! And although I can't wait.... I love what I am feeling right now.... The excitement is building, people around us are all getting excited and now 'The' wedding that everyone is now reffering to is my own... YAY!!!!!

Umm, we're all on here while we're supposed to be working, so I don't think we're the right people to ask!!
I try to focus on my job, but as you can see that doesn't work too well. Usually I make a deal with myself, like ok, I'll work on this project for now and when I'm done then I can go on LIW for a lil while, that tends to help. If I'm really busy and I'm working against a deadline I do the unspeakable and actually X-out (rather than just minimizing the screen).
If all else fails I remind myself that I need this job, otherwise there won't be any wedding to plan bc we won't be able to afford it w/out an income!! It's so hard, but we're almost there!! And then we can return to the normal people that we once were!!

I have been fine... I don't know, I don't find the wedding all consuming... maybe when its a couple of weeks away I will feel this way, but right now I am perfectly able to think of non-wedding stuff and do non-wedding tasks.

I feel like I always have stuff to do, I am always running around.
I am really excited for the wedding, but for some reason it still doesn't feel that real. I think once my invites go out and I start seeing them come in, reality will set in that I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!
