Girls With Bad Feet...
I know that the title of the topic sounds funny but I have severe problems with my feet which which make it extremely painful for me to where heels for more than 2 hours. I was therefore quite concerned about what I was going to wear on my wedding day that I would be comfortable in for about 12 hours but still look pretty. It wasn't loooking good and then I found Angela Nuran shoes!
Angela was a ballroom dancer and designed her shoe (she only makes 1 style) based on how a ballroom dancer's shoe is made (i.e. to be extremely comfortable, extremely supportive and great to dance in) These shoes are amazing!
They come in either a 2 1/2' or 3 1/2' heel and either white, black or pearl (ivory). They are dyable.
Her website is angelanuran.com, but you can't buy from the site. The shoes are only available at 3 stores in NY: Kleinfeld (NYC), Moonlight Couture (Merrick) and Crown Elegance (Staten Island).
I bought them from Moonlight Couture, but on my first visit they didn't have the white. I sent an email to the website asking about what shade of white it was because my dress is bright white and Angela herself emailed me back immediately, answered all of my questions and offered to loan out 2 pairs of the white shoes in my size with the 2 different heels to the store where I wanted to buy them so that I could see the color and try the different heel heights before I bought. I was amazed! She was so nice!
While I was at the store, the shoes were flying off the shelves. The bride, mom and evenbridesmaids were taking them! They are pricey as shoes go at $234 a pair, but for someone like me or really anyone who wants to make sure that she is comforable all day on her wedding, I think it is well worth it!
