i am going with all my bridesmaids this saturday to order their dresses. i love a bill lavkoff dress that everyone agrees on. i remember reading somewhere bill levkoff dresses take about 8 months to come in. is this true? if it is, do you know how much the rush charge is to get them in earlier?

I know a ton of girls who have used bill levkoff and it definitely did not take 8 months, more like 4-5. Question the bridal salon if they tell you that's how long it'll take.

mine took about 4 months i ordered them in november and they 'll be in the beginning of march

Mine said they will get them in in 3 months.
we just ordered ours, and my wedding is 4 month away. So they better be right!

I think we were told about 3-4 months. I ordered in end of NOv for our early July wedding....it better not take 8 months!

I am getting married 10-30-05, and my bridal suite said it was to early for me to order the BM dresses.They told me to come in March..I am getting worried, because I have been reading so many posts about already ordering BM dresses and they are getting married after me?? weird ??

i used to work in a bridal salon. they always try to get the girls to order their dresses asap!! they usually do tell brides to give it 8 months. it usually takes alot less for the dresses to come in BUT just incase when the dresses arrive and if one of the dresses is defective or the wrong size or not the right color the salon wants enough time to be able to correct the problem without the bride or bms having to pay a rush fee. so i think 8 months is good, better safe then sorry. hope i helped.

I am using Bill Levkoff, the bridal stores are telling me to assume 16 weeks. So we're going this week to get everyone measured.

my BM's are also going to be wearing bill levkoff dresses. they don't take 8 months to come in. they should only take about 3-4 months. you should check with the store first before you purshase them there, you don't want it to be 8 months, your girls still need fittings remember that. good luck with the dresses. all my girls are wearing different ones, it looks really nice like that. just a thought.
