Do you take your Fur Babies to the dog park/run? where do you go i only know of one in Cedar creek park in Seaford tell me about others in Nassau

My sister took her dog and he got flea's. It's not that great cause people bring there dogs there and they don't care what they have. And then everyone elses dogs get it.

OMG the one is Seaford is pretty friendly i just want to know of others incase we move closer to Queens Seadord might be a hike

I took my baby to the one at Blydenburgh park and he got bit on his ear.
After $700 in vet bills I don't know if or when I'll ever take him again!

we take our dog all the time, we've never had a problem. we go to wantagh state park. i know there is one in long beach, i wanna say knickerbocker something beach maybe?

There is one in Long Beach, Nickerson Beach a dog run but we live right by the beach so usually we just run him on the beach.

I have been to the one in Cedar Creak .. however my doggie had a very bad experience ( Italian Greyhound) ran straight into the chain linked fence... So we don't really go there anymore... I think there is a park where you can walk your dog in Babylon.. I iwll get the name of the park.. If not you can as 'takingthelongway'.

He was fine every other time but that day all the other dogs were picking on him.
It's too bad because he LOVES it!

MY DOG GOT BIT BY SOME JERK'S DOG....WON'T GO AGAIN!!!!
FH took our bigger dog to the one in Wantaugh and she picked a fight with a pitt bull. My dog showed him who's the boss.. haha

We used to take our dogs to Nickerson Beach in Lido Beach. We have two friendly pit bulls, but worry because not everyone pays attention to their own dogs. haven't started a fight, but we have had other dogs pick on them and then people get pissy when our dogs snap back.
As good as it is to socialize them at the park, too many people are careless.
