Are any of you doing half high, half low? I originally had our florist quote us all low ones but we have an appointment tomorrow to change it because I feel in love with these high ones I saw them bring to the WM showcase. A friend of mine works at the florist and said to keep costs down, do half high half low. Anyone else doing that?
I may! It depends on what I am getting. If I am going to do the tree thing, I am going to do half high half low. If I do just flowers, they are all going to be high.

Re: Girls with high centerpieces
as of right now we are doing all high.
the florist did give us a price for half and half just in case we need to scale back as the date gets closer.

I'm thinking that'll be my deciding factor is the $$. I know it's going to be a big difference btw my low ones that I have now to the tall ones.

Re: Girls with high centerpieces
I am probably doing half and half. I'm going to need like 20-something CP's, so my florist told me it's best to do a combination.

That's what I'm going t need - I'll be having at least 20 tables so I might have to do it to keep the costs down.

We have an appointment tomorrow with the florist....if it maks a huge difference, then we might. We have about 25 tables so if I get a quote for all high and it is wayyy too high, I wil either do half and half OR cut down the quality of the high ones....maybe add less flowers and more branches???

i am leaving flowers up to FH. he worked for a wholesale flower company a couple of years ago so he is much better at that stuff then i am. besides every time i walk into a flower store my allergies go crazy. that will be such a fun experience.

Re: Girls with high centerpieces
we are doing half high, half low. I have seen all high and all low at weddings, and saw half and half at the various Weddings of the Year, and really liked the look.
For me personally it helps give the room some more dimension and a bigger impact

half high half low for us too! i like the way it looks in the room. and my family hates high centerpieces.. so ill make sure theyre at a table with a low one.. so they cal 'see each other across the table'

We're doing all high. Low cp's wouldn't look good in our very high ceiling rh.

I'm doing all high also and will probably have around 18 tables. I guess the half/half might look nice too. Anyone have pictures? I just never really liked low ones.

Re: Girls with high centerpieces
'09er crashing....
That is the exact CP I'm having; I was initially going to do half high/half low but two things changed my mind:
1. Seeing the low CP they were going to give me vs the high CP, I didn't like it (my own personal opinion)
2. The cost difference to do half/half versus all tall wasn't that much.
FM for more info.

Re: Girls with high centerpieces
I have a lot of tables. Like 20-26. So I am doing High/Low. Not only does it save mucho $$ but it adds some dimension to the room.
