girls with ivory dresses...

what color shoes are you wearing? And what color tuxes/shirts vests are the guys getting?

My dress is ivory with lace and I wanted to wear a fun color but am thinking that it won't look right with the dress.

Am thinking gold or a champagne color?

ETA: do you think that for FH an ivory shirt and a champagne/goldish colored vest and tie would look good? And then maybe the groomsmen can have black vests and ties? What color shirts do the groomsmen have, ivory also?

I wore ivory shoes but the soles were blue. They were my something blue and I LOVED them.

ETA: My DH wore an ivory shirt with a black vest and bow tie.

My shoes are sparkly gold.

FH is wearing an ivory shirt with ivory vest and tie.

All other whites in the wedding party will be ivory.

To be honest at every wedding I go to I don't even notice what the groom is wearing! lol.

I am wearing ivory shoes, but I think color shoes would look fine!

As far as shirts, my personal opinion is don't do ivory. I don't like the way it looks - up close I think it almost looks dirty or like it's worn out. I went with diamond white, which is in between.

I am wearing an ivory dress. I have two pairs of shoes. The ceremony shoes are called 'white' by the designer (Badgely Mishka) but they are a perfect match with my light ivory dress. My second pair of shoes will be dyed bright pink. I will probably put them on in the middle of the reception and keep them on for the after party (with a different dress - short and diamond white)

My big concern was the shirts with the tuxes. I am not a big fan of the ivory shirt. To me, there's just something about a crisp white shirt. One tux shop told me it would be fine for FH and GM to wear white even though my dress is ivory. Another shop acted like I was completely out of my mind for even suggesting a white shirt with an ivory dress. I spoke to my photog today and he said he's seen both and its not a big deal, either way. But I do think ivory shirts with your colors - champagne/gold- will look nice. I just really don't like the ivoryshirt with my color scheme

I did customized Nina shoes. You can order them online.

I don't have my pro pics back yet, but you can kind of see the blue sole in this non-pro pic. It was like a baby blue color.

I also am wearing an ivory lace dress (pic in album). My shoes are red. Everyone said it looks very spanish style with the dress being lace and the red shoes. The girls are in black short dresses and red shoes. So it all goes together perfectly.

My FH will be wearing his late uncles tux which comes with a black vest. And he will wear either a white or ivory short with an ivory tie.

Groomsman are black vest with an ivory or white shirt with red tie.
