Girls with Lace dresses

Are you getting veil from the same store you ordered your dress?

It not, where are you getting your veil and how are you making sure that the lace on the veil is the same on your dress?

I ordered my veil from the Pronovias flagship store in the city. The girl i'm working with said that pronovias doesn't give them swatches of the lace. How am I supposed to order my veil if I dont' know what the lace was??

The veil that Kleinfeld paired with my dress was perfect but I think I am borrowing a plain veil from a friend anyways.

I am going to ask them to give me a piece of my dress once it comes in to look for shoes. Why don't you ask for a swatch of your dress?

I tried on 'a' veil with my dress but can't for the life of me remember if it was lace or not. And now I can't cuz they sent the sample back to Barcelona.

honestly, i would not suggest buying a veil (unless you know exactly what you want...which it doesnt seem like) till your dress comes in...then you can try on a bunch of veils and see what you like and what you dont.

my dress came in and i still dont know what veil i want! its hard to decide. but if i order it through the store they said 2 months is enough time. (id rather NOT order it through the store to save $$), so i have been looking around and online...but at least i have a fall-back option.

also. once you know the veil you like, im sure other shops carrry pronovias veils if you find out the make/model #

I gotta see when my first fitting in. That means I gotta wait longer to get my hair trials cuz i can't do it w.o the veil. ugh.. this stinks!

adriana - i think you can still do a hair trial now, and i would NOT suggest waiting on that.

you just need to do a trial and figure out how you think you will clip the viel (on top, on bottom, mantilla, etc)...but i dont think you need to wait on that

i did my hair and makeup trial months ago, and i dont plan on doing another (mainly cuz of $$$$). but i have pics of my hair trial so i can show when i am looking for a veil.
