Did you get your veil from the same store you ordered your dress?
It not, where did you get your veil and how did you make sure that the lace on the veil is the same on your dress?
I ordered my veil from the Pronovias flagship store in the city. The girl i'm working with said that pronovias doesn't give them swatches of the lace. How am I supposed to order my veil if I dont' know what the lace was??

I'd go to a lace store like La Sposa Bella Lace or Lace Star (both NYC) and ask if you can have a couple swatches with the names and colors of the lace and then see which best matches your dress so you know which to order?

I ordered my veil from Barron's. They custom made my veil with lace edging. It did not match the lace on my dress perfectly, but it still looked really nice. I just took a really close up picture of the lace on my dress and brought it to Barron's.

I got my veil from Kleinfeld's which is also where I bought my dress from.
the designer just happened to make a veil that goes with my dress. Usually that doesn't happen... and it was a perfect match. I fell in love with my veil before I loved my dress!!!
Kleinfelds had a lot of lace veils and they even have a veil section with it's own veil workers!! crazy!!

I bought my veil from Barron's too...I had a swatch that Bridal Reflections was kind enough to give me....
Another thought is, I'm sure your dress is too long/big somewhere, cut a piece of the lace off!

Thanks! I kinda did this. I got my dress at the Bridal Garden and Gina, the woman that works there, had me do this (got my lace at La Sposa) and then she made my veil for me! (Pics in my review!) Good luck!
