I want to create a resort for us. There seems to be a lot of us on these boards. We all pretty much say similar things (or am I looking for those reflecting what I say back to me?) anyways, I find my fmil to be so nice, but so strange. she's from rural ohio and i'm from NY and we are geographically and emotionally worlds apart. does anyone else feel like if they are nice to their MIL, that will lead to her calling more, and visiting more, so why be nice? that's how i'm feeling and it's awful to feel this way three days before i get married.

and to add one more thing - it doesn't 'cost' me anything to be nice to her - it will make FH so happy, FMIL so happy, and ease my anxiety - but i find it hard. i find her to be so annoying and sarcastic and rude to her husband. it's an awful relationship my FH has to model after, unfortunately. ARGH. i need advice re. tomorrow night - they want to come over tom. night and i REALLY, REALLY do not want them to. we're getting married saturday and the apt. is a mess and all i want to do is be with my FH and practice our dance and sleep. advice?

ok my fmil is so overly fake nice to me i wanna puke....but its an act!!!!!! she takes little digs and shots at me left and right and this week i exploded on FH , i cant take her i dont know if you know what i mean but she always has to be the martyr i feel like saying get down of the cross lady!!!!!!!!!!!
