I know it's worked for other jewelry that I've worn, like rings and necklaces. But I'd be afraid to put it on something I'm sticking inside. What if the polish chips off?

DH has the same allergy - poor guy can't wear a watch unless it's coated on the bottom.

I heard it worked, but I have the same concern as listed above. Nail polish on an earring could be dangerous.
