Girls with oily hair

Question for you ladies....are you washing your hair the day before (like most hairdressers recommend) or are you washing it the day of? I am just so worried that I will look like a grease ball by the end of the night if I wash it the day before. What have you done or plan on doing?

I'll definitely be washing my hair the morning of...I know every hair stylist says not to, but I refuse to have nasty oily hair the day of my wedding! Plus I know I'll feel ridiculously self conscious if it's unwashed.

Thank you girls!!! I totally agree, but everyone is making me feel crazy. I guess they just don't understand because they don't have oily hair!!

same here! I don't even go to the grocery store without washing my hair, so I will most definitely NOT be going to my own wedding with unwashed hair!

I washed mine the day of the wedding. My hairdresser told me to make sure to fully dry my hair. (That's why they want it washed the day before) She said once you think your hair is dry, then dry it another 5 minutes. Oddly enough, they still stuck me under the dryer for a while when I got to the salon. But for me it was worth not washing it the day before.

Without a doubt the morning of. Not everyone is the same-- I CAN NOT wash it the day before.

I'm probably going to wash it the morning of the wedding because even if I wash it the night before, whenever I sleep when I wake up my hair feels greasy... yuck... I don't want that feeling on my wedding day!

I HAVE to wash my hair everyday- I feel so yucky if I don't. My hair dresser insists I don't have to, but I just have to. I will definitely be washing it the morning of.

Yeah me too... my hair is gross after I sleep on it, it would look horrible!

I'll probably wash it the evening before, i'll already be waking up way way way too early and i'd rather have the extra sleep (even though I won't be able to sleep anyway).

It's scary but in the past i've been told to NOT wash my hair for at least 24 hours getting it done for a wedding. They said it holds much better for your hair when its dirty, Doesn't make sense to me.
