1--how many slipper baskets did you do? I bought one basket but now I'm picturing a million women bum-rushing one basket.....maybe I should have 2 so it's not so crowded around one basket? we are inviting about 275-300 ppl.
2--did you guys wrap them in organza bags? or just put a pretty tag with a ribbon? if so, where did u get the bags/tags? I would rather do a ribbon with tag but how would I attach that to a chinese slipper? I'm not doing flip flops.

well, figure that if you invite 275-300 people, about 225 or so will come, roughly half of those will be women so like about 100 women.
I would do two baskets of the slippers, smaller sizes in one (5-7) and larger (8-10) in the other to break it up.
Maybe put the soles of the slippers together and tie around with the ribbon and loop a gift tag through them?

were expecting around 300 people, i have 3 baskets for 150 slippers
i used organza bags i ordered from pouchdepot.com (with 40% off coupon ) and then i got my tags from ftmb

I have 96 pairs for around 200 people (figure only the women will want), divided into two baskets.
I'm just keeping them in the plastic wrap they came in and put size labels on the outside.

My sil did my flip flop basket. I got 80 pairs (inviting 260 hoping for about 220).
Here is a pic. You could do the same with chinese slippers, just slide them into each other and tie a ribbon around them. We bought cardstock from michaels and she had a square paper cutter and stamps for the sizes.
