Girls with trumpet/mermaid dresses...

Are you wearing a garter? My dress is pretty tight around my thighs, so I'm afraid you'll see it through my dress...

I've been thinking about the same thing. I don't think I will since I'll have to wear it so low it'll be uncomfortable.

Yea, my dress is raw silk and has a VERY light lining... I have a feeling it will show through...

My dress is a fit and flare which the woman said was pretty much a trumpet. Yes I'm wearing two Yankee garters, and tossing one!

My dress is also a trumpet, luckily it has a ton of layers and a lace overlay so I hope that any bumps won't show... but now that you mention it I will probably just slip the garter on right before FH pulls it off.... with his teeth.

i haven't even thought of this! I will probably only wear a garter for the toss. The thought of having that thing digging into my leg all night makes me cringe. I wore one for my bpics and it left marks after wearing for like 20 mins

I was kinda sketchy on getting mine bc I never liked that style but when I tried it on the dress is everything else I wanted!

We are doing the garter toss, so I'll be wearing one. Though I'll wear it low enough so that FH doesn't have to hike my skirt up to kingdom come to get at it

you can always throw it on once you you get back to the hotel room? that way it wont be uncomfortable and maybe showing all night and FH still gets to see it when its just the 2 of you
