Giuliani gives bride away over the weekend....

Did anyone see Mayor Giuliani give a bride away this weekend? It was so sweet! The bride recently lost her brother (unrelated to Tuesday`s attack), and her father and grandfather had both passed away within the last year. I only saw a brief clip about it on the news, but he looked so cute giving her away. Anyway, it was nice to see a little happiness over the past week.

I am not completely familiar with the whole story, but I do know that the woman getting married lost both her father and grandfather in the past year. About a month ago, her brother, who was 27 and a rookie firefighter, had a heart attack and died his first week on the job. He left behind a wife of 11 months. The Mayor was at this firefighters funeral and offered to walk her down the aisle because she had lost all the loved men in her life. None of these indidences had anything to due with the terrorist attacks on the WTC.

That part was also mentioned on the news last night. He walked her down the isle because of her recently lost family members - not because of anyone involved in Tuesday's attack.
