Give a STD to boss?

LOL....I still get a kick out of STD.

Did you girls send a Save The Date to your boss(es)? I plan on sending one to my coworker who I'm close to but not sure if I should send one to my bosses as well.

Thoughts?

I am dealing with the same thing right now with my FH boss. We don't want to but, he is an executive at a small company and feel it would produce some bad feelings if we didn't. So i guess we have to. We just hope they decline to come since they live across the country.

I agree and am in the same situation----except my boss lives close so they'll probably come!

Me too! But one boss lives in the SAME TOWN I'm getting married in so he'll really have no excuse not to come!!

I don't want my bosses there on my wedding day to be honest. I feel like my wedding day should be free of reminders of how much I hate my job! Fat chance of that happening.

Maybe they'll give a really nice gift considering they know how much I DON'T make and how this wedding is going to run us into the poor house!lol.

I didn't send out STDs to anyone.
Just the invite was sufficient, and I sent those out 10 weeks prior to the wedding.

IMO, it is a waste of money, because most everyone will find out by word of mouth when your wedding date is. Besides, if you send someone an STD, you are then obligated to send them an invite. No changing your mind.

I agree with the majority here - I wouldn't send STDs to anyone at work. If you change your mind about who you are inviting, you're screwed. My STDs are going to family only pretty much.

me too! although my assistant gave me one for her wedding- but still I am not sure that I can invite everyone at work (its 30 people including guests!) so I am opting not to.
