Is anyone having their DJ give stuff out? You know necklaces, hats etc? I can't decide if I want to do this, Mom says yes FH says no, I am the tie breaker. What do you think?

No...I personally dont like that at all..But to each there own , it depends on YOUR taste and if you think it will be fun or not...

me too... But i am thinking of them giving out the light up roses to the women. My friend did it and i loved it!

FH and mom want it also but i am like no way.. i know people enjoy it but it is a little tacky for me. Just my opinion though

The DJ gave out the light up roses at our wedding, they shut all the lights out and only the roses were lit, everyone danced to 'have you ever been in Love'.. It looked really nice and the people went crazy for these things... it was really pretty and a great touch to our wedding...

i think they are kind of cheesy....JMO
i think they are more appropriate for Sweet 16's and Bar/Bat mitzvahs

I think they are cheesy too, but, I do know a lot of people love them. I think that If I was having kids at my wedding, I'd maybe, maybe consider doing them, but since I am not having kids there, I didnt have to think twice-- I am not having them.

I think it depends on your crowd somewhat. We decided against them because we think (hope) that our guests are motivated enough to dance... but I've seen them be a big hit at many weddings.

IMO-- those giveaways are great for Bar/Bat mitzvahs and sweet 16's.. not weddings.

We are doing the giveaways. I think that they are fun, and it also keeps the kids busy.

We decided against it because it felt to much like a Sweet 16 and we aren't having any kids come (I do like the light up roses idea though)

I personally don't like it... but I know from the past weddings that the older people in my family LOVE the giveaways... kids too. We might just do one giveaway or two
