give me ideas for my shower

so as usual relying on men gets u no where, and so is with my shower (FH was supposed to organize it, but we keep fighting about it and I'm sick of it). So, I decided to throw myself my very own shower.

Now I need ideas as to where and what theme.

I plan for about 15-20 ppl and I prefer in the city.

any ideas?

I second that! Since you want to do it in the city! Its a great place for a shower, def look into it!!!!!!

did you want to stay in Westchester??

my friend had her baby shower somewhere in Westchester... i just sent her a text to find out... the food was sooo good...

oh and I cant believe we didnt meet at TWOTY

if you want a nice restaurant w a private room, i threw my folks an anniversary party at scarlatto (times sq area), they have an upstairs room. decent pricing. and great food!!

i can recommend other places with private rooms if you want too...no 'theme' just good food , lol

but also remember that you will get GIFTS at a shower...so maybe staying closer to your place (as long as its easy for ppl to get to) is a good idea

if everyone drives, there are a few good places on city island

and in general, i always love brunch. not sure if that is a 'theme' or not tho...but there are decently priced pre-fixe places in the city that do brunch. maybe look into that

Janis, I was thinking brunch too. I want something very light and just a friendly environment. city is easy for everyone b/c I will have ppl coming from all the boroughs and from westchester (his mom has an SUV so the gifts arent a problem lol)

i agree with Janis.. u might want to stay closer to home cuz of alll the gifts

as far as theme... u can just stick to certain colors??
