Give me some Color advice!

I haven't picked out BM Dresses, Flowers or any details yet but need to get going.

I know I want GREEN and IVORY as two of my colors but I want to work someting else in with that so our stationary is not too light and so that I can pick other BM dresses if I can't find a good shade or green in the dress I like.

So what would you combine???

I am getting married in MAY at the INN at NEW HYDE PARK which has light colored (almost pale yellow/beige walls and dark carpet) and I am going to the elegant/ballroom look.

I read in a home nesting book to always refer to nature for color combos...

green, ivory, and pink or two shades of green, purple, blue,

What are your favorite colors?

a deep navy blue would look nice with any shade of green

I love green and ivory so I am definetely set on those.

I am stuck on a third color. I thought about a very dark purple (lilac) or brown but am not sure about those for May. Coral and ronze have also crossed my mind.

I don't know why this isn't easier-lol!

I think a light pink or some shade a pink will look great with that combo depending on the shade of green you are going with.

my invites are green, ivory and baby pink ( i got them on a great sale at target) they are in my album, that is a nice combo...

but for a darker color, i think your idea with a dark purple is nice, also anything in the brown family would look great and its not too dark for a wedding in may

Kristina I wore a celadon and ivory BM dress for my brothers wedding a couple of years ago, the colors go beautifully together....they got married in october and did kind of a fall theme but the colors they used could be used in the spring as well...

the flowers were yellows, oranges and ivory.... you would definitely be able to substitute coral for the orange to give it a springy look...

the dress looks kind of gray in this pic but I don't have any others on my laptop....I'll try to find some more on my other computer later.

I would put in a magenta pink, navy blue, gold, or pink grapefruit color I love the colors of the flowers in the first picture that may look nice with your color scheme

Hi Kristina,

I was looking through your albums to get an idea of what you like, what about a shade of brown or copper, that will look nice w/ the celedon and ivory.

A rosie pink will also look nice

do you ant acolor or a shade. Because it hink champagne would look really nice with that combo as well. But for color i would od like a corally orange or somethig like that.

ive seen some weddings that have a celadon and chocolate brown theme and looks GORGEOUS!!!!!

and invites i saw that were celadon and chocolate brown were so beautiful. I always suggest now to ppl, i had already picked blue and brown so it was too late but beautiful combo

i second the brown....and fuscia would really pop against the green and ivory but thats a bold color....

I asked FH for his opinion the other night - he did say ivory, green and brown so this I know he would go for - lol! (note: it was immediately after i showed him Tuosto invites (i think he just subbed her pink for green!)
