Giving Count to Hall

I know you count vendors in your head count to the reception hall but does the bride and groom count too?

Yes. You and the groom are counted since they will serve you a meal as well.

I had the exact thought

I dont see why you have to pay for yourselves after all its your wedding and they can throw a free meal for the bride and groom, its the least they can do.

If you have a problem including yourself, you may want to negociate with your RH.

But they are charging you for the number of people attending. You are part of the people attending.

ETA: maybe you can negociate upgrades.
