Giving me away...I need opinions

I have been thinking about this since I got engaged and need outside opinions.....

My sister recently go married and she had my mom and step-father walk her down the aisle.

Now for me I wanted my mom and brother to walk me down the aisle.
My stepfather and I had a rocky start 15 yrs ago but as I got older I learned a lot and became very close with him.
My brother and I have been inseparable since I was born, we are only 1 year apart.

I figured sine I am not having a bridal party my brother can take an important part and walk me down the aisle.

My FH thinks it should be my stepfather and mom. I understand why but I feel like my brother has always been there for me, and will continue to be there for me unconditionally

So do i have an entourage-- my mom, stepfather and brother--obviously too crowded for one aisle

OR have mom and brother walk me down and have stepfather do a reading and of course father / daughter dance.

I am soo torn and I dont want to hurt my stepfathers feelings.

What do you think keep it traditional mom and dad or go with my gut and have mom and brother???

I am a traditionalist, and I would say your brother, because he's a male blood relation.

I think you should have your brother walk you down the aisle.

I would have your brother walk you down the isle and give you away, if you want to you can incorporate something like giving your Stepfather and your mom to show you appreciate them during the ceremony.

I like this plan. It keeps your step-father involved but has who you want walking you down the aisle.

What about if you:

Walk down with your brother AND Stepdad and have your mom walk down with your FH's parents (FMIL the the right + FFIL in center + your mom to the left )

Just an idea but it will only work if your mom wont be hurt by not walking with you.....

Orrrrr just walking with her brother and having mom and stepdad walk together? Maybe you can have them do the Corinthinians together since they have their marriage as an example? Love is patient love is kind, blahblah

thats a good idea..

have mom and stepfather walk together in front of me then Me and brother!

Hmmmm Maybe.. but since my mom raised us alone she always said she wanted to walk us down!

Im sure she wouldnt mind doing that. I feel since they already walked my sister down now my brother can walk me down.

My sister had this same dilemma but she asked my brother to marry her and husband, so he became ordained and married them.

My FFIL is marrying us and i wouldn't have it any other way.

So another important role was giving me away...hence my situation!

I would reccomend You and your brother walikng down together and Mom and stepdad walking before you.

I would def. have your brother walk you down...that' what I am doing. Your Mom and Step Dad can walk down before you guys since you don't have a BP...
