Giving out CD favors?

Hi ladies! (and gentlemen!)

We're giving out CD favors and I'm trying to work out all the logistics.

We want to give one per couple.

1) Married couples will definitely get 1 to share, but what about people who are dating? Should they get 1 each? (I'm thinking yes.)

2) They will be in jewel cases. Should they be wrapped or decorated somehow too?

3) Should I somehow put peoples names on the favor, so they know how many they should take?

We gave on CD per couple

My mom and I wrapped them in white paper and then used pretty ribbon

Your hall will put the number of favors on the table that you tell them. People will know that its one favor per couple

1 per couple

if somone is dating someone..chances are you don't know that person and the favor would end up with the person that knows u better

chances are you will have left overs at the end or ppl will request them after the wedding

i'm doing cd's too. i think 1 per couple, and 1 per single guest is fine. we're putting ours in card board envelopes with matching labels on the envelope and the disc itself.

did you burn them your self?

We gave one per couple. I found plain white wrapping paper. I gave them out myself as guests were leaving; didn't want to put them on the table, because sometimes people get greedy and take more than 1. (I've been to too many weddings where my table-mates took my favor)

Thanks for your help, everyone!

We're getting them printed professionally, BUT, they won't burn them. So, we have to burn them ourselves.

If anyone knows another way I can get them burned, aside from doing it oursleves, please let me know!

We did one per invite - we used them as our place cards so every person who was single got one and every couple got one (except when they didn't live together and then, since we sent out 2 invites, they each got a CD.)
We created inserts and then printed vellum with the name and table # on it and wrapped it around. Here is how the hall set them up...

that's a great idea!! we are having one per couple too and just putting them on the table...
