Giving the RH your final count question

Giving the RH your final count question

I was just reading on the 09 board that the girls gave the RH like 7-10 under their final count to account for some cancellations or no shows.

What usually happens if you tell an RH your final count is 100, for example, and then 107 show up? Big issue?

i think the case of more people showing is unusual, as opposed to less people showing. i think in the case where more showed, the girl had to pay extra the night of.

I agree. If you have more than your final headcount actually show up, you just pay the difference at the end of the night.

if you give the RH a low number come prepared to pay for any overages the night of. Also they will count the seating chart and probably get a call the day before or so.

I gave them my actual count. But if you give a low I wouldnt do it by too much maybe only 2-3.

Re: Giving the RH your final count question

My RH told me to give a head count of 5 fewer people than I was expecting. That was due approx two weeks before the wedding.

The week of the wedding, I dropped off my escort cards and seating charts. Those reflected the accurate number of people I was expecting. The day before the wedding, I updated the headcount. The day of the wedding, I paid the difference.

It was very simple and easy.
