Glass Vases

Glass Vases

Are you renting or owning your tall centerpiece vases at the end of the night?

What is the typical cost of either options?

I'm looking into a tall trumpet vase- approximately 24'

Is 35 to rent over priced?

You can buy in bulk from Michaels. You might even be able to use a coupon when you do.

The save on crafts website has some good ideas too and everything on there is really reasonable. I thnk I am going to try to incorporate some of this to save money!

Yes definitely try Michaels! I've also seen glass vases on dollartree.com which you can also buy in bulk for really cheap. I'm not sure if they would have the 24' ones, but I would definitely shop around. I think $35 to rent is a lot if you're paying that per vase, but if it's for all of them it probably isn't too bad.

try christmas tree shops. we got 14' ones for $7 each. I saw taller ones but they were not the type you want. They may have others.

They say set it up at home and take a picture, then pack it as well as possible with pictures for the RH to follow.... and have someone to 'check it out' prior- like a family member who may not be in as many pix? or a friend not in the bridal party?

I'm DIYing and I'm a little worried about this. Thankfully my aunt and dear friend said they would be happy to help assemble and inspect before the CH. So I feel pretty good about that. It's amazing how many people are willing to lend a hand to make your wedding day easy and less stressful.

Def dollar store or also Big lots has tall vases most of the time. Could even try Marshalls but those two places are hit or miss and sometimes dont have them in bulk.

Is $35 per vase? Seems high to me just to rent. Also, keep an eye on recycledbride.com. It is for brides who are selling items from their wedding.

I am on the fence about doing my own centerpieces. My family keeps trying to tell me 'just pay someone' yea well if I had a money tree I would but its an area where I can save. Ugh.

Good luck!

I was going to do my own centerpieces but I am too nervous, not as much about making them, more about transporting them. I gave in and am having a florist do it.
