Glen Cove Mansion

I am looking at booking at Glen Cove Mansion, but I wanted to see if anyone has had their wedding there or have been to a wedding and get any feedback. I am torn between places and any feedback on Glen Cove would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

My FSIL got married there, it was nice.. but the cocktail hour room felt cramped. There were only like 3 tables. Where is the other hall you're torn between?

We are looking at Royalton and de Seversky Mansion. Any feedback?

The issue we have with Glen Cove is the ballroom and the odd shape. We have seen some photos of the ball room with the sweetheart table set up right next to the dance floor with tables behind the sweetheart table. We did not like that at all.

The cocktail hour would have multiple rooms so that would be okay because people can flow between the rooms as well as the patio that is outside.

I personally didn't care for GCM... de seversky was gorgous.

I love De Seversky but it was too small for us. Bourne Mansion is beautiful and the other lessing properties.

I never went to GCM cause I found the staff to be rude (via e-mail!)

i'm getting married at the royalton so i'm obviously partial, but we considered the glen cove mansion, but it was too small (i had my prom there 6 years ago!) and I thought the main room was kinda a weird shape for the amount of people i'm having.

It's beautiful, but i think it depends on how many people you are planning to have

@ KrisCharl- if you dont mind me asking how much are you paying per person to have your wedding there and what time of year/day of the week? I am searching for places and it is hard to find my price range? Ang suggestions?

Glen cove is pretty pricey per person!

We met with someone at GCM and they were rude and I thought it was VERY overpriced for what was provided! Not a fan! On the other hand the ROYALTON was gorgeous!

I've heard fabulous things about the Royalton!

Melissa is the one that we met with last weekend at de servesky. She was soooo nice and really knew the place. She definitely made the experience.

We looked at the Bourne Mansion but I did not like the ceremony site outdoors. But I did like the inside.

For me, I like de seversky and the royalton. But my fiance likes Glen Cove because it has such a beautiful front and the fact that there are hotels right there since we will have lots of guests coming from out of town/country.

We are going back to all three this weekend with his family so we will see.

I went to a wedding at the Royalton in September and it was gorgeous! The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. It was one of the best weddings I have been to this year!

I have to agree, I looked at the Mansion and the oddly shapped ballroom was too much of a deterrent for me. And like someone else said I felt that I wouldn't get much value for the money!

The more and more pictures I look at online, the more and more i am not a fan of Glen Cove and I am more of a fan of the other 2 places.

I went to a wedding at the Royalton in July and it was really great!!! I really loved how they had waiters line the hall way each with a different style drink when you walked in
