I'm an considering the Glen Island Harbor Club as the place for our April reception. I'm just having a hard time deciding between the two rooms. The ball room has a beautiful cocktail hour but no water views in the main room. The terrace room has a very nice view of the water but the coktail hour room is just not the most beautiful. If anyone has been in either room can you please help me?

When we were shown the space I thought the downstairs room made me feel closed in because it didn't have windows. The only thing is it also depends on the amount of people you're having...we didn't have enough for the larger. Either way it's a great place!!

I'm using the Rose Room (upstairs). We are getting married in the chapel with the panoramic views of the LI sound. I didn't want to risk weather. I loved the cocktail hour upstairs so I decided to go with that one. I also didn't want my guests moving up and down the stairs. Our entire party will be on the 2nd floor.
The reception room itself is pretty plain but I plan to transform it into something very romantic with lots and lots of candles.
